A little while ago we bought you news of the impending closure of Cyberbingo UK following notifications from a number of other brands on the Dragonfish network. More recently we received confirmation of the closure from the company marketing the product through an affiliate scheme. On 19th August Cyberbingo UK closed and the VistaGaming UK program became inactive.
According to the email received from Vista Gaming ‘This was not an easy decision to make, but one that will allow them to take a step back and review our activity within the UK market.’
Why they brand chose to close their Dragonfish site is unknown but with so many other brands all using the same network and software, it’s not going to be a loss that is really noticed.
The main Cyberbingo site on the dot.com domain is still available and whilst the site offers prizes in pounds sterling, the bingo caller has an American accent.
There’s £5 free to try their other site though so you have nothing to lose by seeing if it suits your requirements, we weren’t overly keen to be honest. However, Cyberbingo is one of the most established brands online today (even if their Dragonfish offering failed miserably) so they must be doing something right.
