Jackpot Liner, Jackpot Café and King Jackpot are all brands that never really made a massive impact into the world of online bingo. This can be attributed in the main to the fact that to play at the site a download is required. This could be all set to change though as recently iGaming Business revealed that Daub Ltd (the company who own Kitty and Lucky Pants Bingo) have acquired Table Top Entertainment. [original story]
It was only two years ago in September 2012 that Kitty Bingo made an appearance in the world of online gaming with Lucky Pants Bingo launching shortly after, in January 2013. Daub Ltd are the people who own these two brands but who are Daub Ltd? They are the company that made all the Joy of Bingo sites (Wink, Posh, Red Bus etc) a resounding success before they sold to 888 in 2009.
We can’t really see the draw of buying the Table Top Entertainment sites if we are honest but lets hope that they drag the three brands up to be significant players in todays online bingo market. A spokesperson for Daub Ltd, Zak Dronje said of the acquisition “This is a superb opportunity for the Group. This acquisition gives a substantial opportunity to leverage the existing businesses offering the best in bingo, slots and propriety bonus game features. With a full range of unique content and two more sites planned to launch later this year, we are very well placed in this growing market.”
It’s not an acquisition we would be excited about, but who knows – with no figures available it could be that Daub Ltd bagged themselves a bargain!
