News recently broke that we are soon set to see a new product at Jackpot Joy, another themed bingo game to join the many others available from this popular brand. The new bingo game is currently in development and is to be based on the popular ITV series front by Paddy McGuinness, Take Me Out.
The show first as a pilot on Channel 4 in 2009 but the current format first appeared on ITV in January 2010 and is the UK version of an Australian show called Taken Out. The show itself is recorded at the Maidstone Studios in Kent and is currently on season 6 with the last show in this series to be shown on 1st February.
The chances that the suite of new games including the bingo game, slots and instant wins being ready for the end of the current series are minimal. However, when the series next appears on our screens, Jackpot Joy will most certainly have them.
The Chief Operating Officer at Gamesys, the software provider for Jackpot Joy, Lee Fenton said ‘This is a great opportunity for us to take a much loved UK TV brand and together with FremantleMedia, develop a suite of games that will stay true to the programme’s format as well creating exceptional game experiences for our customers.’
We certainly think the games will appeal to the target audience for online bingo and are keen to see exactly what Gamesys come up with for Take Me Out Bingo. You know how it goes ‘No likey, no lighty’, will we be keeping our lights on for the soon to launch games?
