Review

At this point in time we have chosen not to include links that direct you to this brand. The reason for this is that for a 12+ month period we have seen no proof that the site was donating to charity as per their promotional content. For more details read the article entitled 'Not So Charitable Charity Bingo' here.

We have offered you an alternative brand on the same network, powered by the same software.

Charity Bingo is one of the online bingo sites that make up the 15 Network. Powered by the Jumpman Gaming software, they first opened their virtual doors in November 2012. As the name suggests, one of the aims of the site is to raise as much money as possible for good causes. Each month they nominate a new charity and 10% of all deposits made go directly to that charity. This means you can enjoy your favourite games content in the knowledge that you are helping someone less fortunate at the same time; This alone is a good enough reason to sign up and give them a try.

The Charity Bingo site is sadly not every inspiring, and the blue and pink colour scheme is very bright and 'in your face'. On the front page you have a couple of large banners advertising their latest offers and a spinning wheel to demonstrate the extra bonuses you could receive once you have made your first deposit. You would think they would make more of an effort to emphasise the great work they have done charity and the amount of money they have raised for good causes, but apart from a small mention on one of the banners you would not know there was anything special going on unless you checked their promotional pages.

Signing up for Charity Bingo is a simple procedure, you do not have to enter any credit card details but to be honest you can't do much until you do. You will be welcomed with a first deposit bonus plus you get to spin the wheel for the chance to win up to £2,500 worth of extra bonus funds. Unfortunately this bonus money cannot be used to play slots or instant games and if you use it on bingo you are restricted to just twenty four cards. The Charity Bingo freebies end there and they do not offer any reload bonuses.

The Charity Bingo lobby is made up of just four tabs: 90 ball bingo, 75 ball bingo, jackpots and instants. There are not many rooms to choose from and they are not all always open. This is not necessarily a bad thing though as it funnels the players that are online into the rooms that are open and this results in larger prize pots. From the lobby you can find out a little more about that months chosen charity as well as details of upcoming guaranteed jackpot games, so you can easily pre-purchase your cards and take part even if you can't log in to play live.

The Charity Bingo rooms are one of their best features and look great. To the left of the screen you have a large area dedicated to showing your cards and the best ones are always sorted to the top. To the right of this you have a grid showing the balls as they are called and they have obviously made an effort to make sure everything is nice and colourful. To the right of the screen you have a larger then average chat room where you can take part in chat games and have a bit of banter with your buddies. From the bingo rooms you can also access a small selection of slots, scratchcards, table games and instants, so there is always something to keep you entertained.

One area in which Charity Bingo is lacking is promotions. They do offer guaranteed jackpot games, a VIP scheme and a refer a friend bonus, but nothing very exciting when you compare them to what is on offer elsewhere. There is of course the Charity Bingo which we are sure you will agree is never a bad thing, but if they made more of an effort to appeal to new players, this in turn would boost the amount of money they could raise each month.

If you are a Jumpman Gaming fan then you might as well sign up for Charity Bingo. They offer the same as all of the other brands on the network with the bonus of doing a lot of good work for great causes. Even if you are not a fan, why not sign up and just make one deposit? You can then sit back, enjoy a few games of bingo and give a little back at the same time; a rare win win situation!
