In November 2012 Mirror Casino had their wrists slapped by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) following an advert in the National press which featured Optimus Prime from Transformers (read more here). The reason that the ASA banned the advert in its original format were three CAP Codes that were breached; 1.3, 16.1 and 16.3.12. Metro Play obviously didn’t take heed of this adjudication because on 8th January their regional press ad received the same ruling!

This week it wasn’t only William Hill that came underfire from the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA), Sky Poker also received one complaint about an advert on their site which was perceived as misleading.
